Cara Nahaul

Education:

BA Fine Art and Art History, Goldsmiths, University of London, 2006 – 2009

Information:

Since graduation, Cara has worked as an assistant curator and manager at Red Gate Gallery whilst pursuing her art practice. She has exhibited in numerous group shows, including the National Open Art Competition in 2009 chaired by Gavin Turk, winning the Heart of England regional prize. Recently, Cara was nominated for the prestigious John Moores Painting Prize at the Walker Art Gallery which forms part of the Liverpool Biennial 2010.

Cara is currently a Jerwood Painting Fellow working towards an exhibition at the Jerwood Space in Spring 2011. She is now co-directing the Silent City Collective who curated the exhibition Silent City: Part 1 at the Rag Factory, London and is now working towards producing an art and activism online publication in collaboration with Shoppinghour.
